POOL CLOSURE
Effective April 18, 2004 through May 17, 2004, the ASTON Waikiki Beach Hotel pool will be closed for enhancements. The pool will be tiled and the hotel logo will be centered at the bottom of the pool and the current deck tile will be removed and replaced with a 'Sundek' coating.
The hotel will take the following steps to minimize any inconveniences:
* work will be done Monday through Friday from 9am - 5pm
* The majority of heavy work will be done during the first week (April 18 - 24, 2004)
* a barrier will be erected around the work area
* 'Breakfast on the Beach' will be relocated to the area fronting the front desk
* A beach amenity wil be given at check-in for every room. The amenity consist of: Souvenir bag, pair of binoculars and waterproof safe (that goes around the neck).
During this period, hotel guests can enjoy the world's largest salt-water pool, the Pacific Ocean, which is located directly across from the hotel.
