• Transportation Access Fee: This is a mandatory one-time charge of approximately $30* per person, plus tax. • Transfer Service to Manele Small Boat Harbor - transportation to and from the Manele Bay Harbor may be purchased through Lana'i City Services. Lana'i City Services offers scheduled van service connecting the harbor with the Manele Bay Hotel, The Challenge at Manele Golf Course, the Lodge at Koele and the Experience at Koele Golf Course. This will also effect those arriving to Lanai from Maui via the Ferry. Unless private transfers are arranged, this is the only transfer service available to and from the harbor, as the resorts will no longer provide this service. • Effective March 1, 1998, The Challenge at Manele will move to a mandatory, non-spike policy. To prolong the life of the greens, no metal spikes will be permitted on the courses under any circumstances. In the event a guest does not have non-metal spikes, the clubhouse will have the capability to change out spikes in approximately 15 minutes, at a charge of approximately 7.00* per pair, plus tax.
