The Lodge at Koele Lanai

This hotel is secluded among decades old towering Cook Island pines. The lodge is designed in a manner of a grand estate or country lodge, with heavy timbers, high beamed ceilings and natural stone fireplaces. Enjoy horseback rides, jeep rides, croquet , beach and boating activities. All rooms have balconies and ceiling fans. The atmosphere prevailed here is very laid back. Also available is our spectacular 18-hole championship golf course 'The Experience at Koele' designed by Greg Norman is available on property.

The challenge at Manele and the Experience at Koele will be closed over the following dates for aerification of the greens. The greens will need about 10-14 days for a full recovery to normal playing condition due to healing. Schedule is subject to change.

• The Experience at Koele and The Challenge at Manele have a mandatory, non-spike policy. To prolong the life of the greens, no metal spikes will be permitted on the courses under any circumstances. Spikes may be changed out for an additional fee at clubhouse or guests may rent golf shoes.

• Transportation Access Fee: This is a mandatory one-time charge for an additional fee per person. This fee will cover transfers to/from the airport/hotel and inter-resort shuttle services to/from Lodge at Koele to/from the Manele Bay Hotel. The guests folio will be charged upon check-in at the resort and payment is made directly to the property.
• For Asian Markets Only: Transfers to/from the airport and hotel are included in the rates.
• Transfer Service to Manele Small Boat Harbor: transportation to and from the Manele Bay Harbor may be purchased through Lana'i City Services. Lana'i City Services offers scheduled van service connecting to the harbor with the Manele Bay Hotel, The Challenge at Manele Golf Course, the Lodge at Koele and Experience at Koele Golf Course. This will also effect those arriving to Lanai from Maui via the Ferry. Unless private transfers are arranged, this is the only transfer service available to and from the harbor, as the resorts will no longer provide this service.

• Experience At Koele Clubhouse - The Clubhouse is the perfect gathering place after a round of golf. Relax in an open-air atmosphere overlooking the fairways and greens with your favorite beverage from the bar. Offering hot and cold sandwiches, salads and light snacks.
• S and T Properties - S and T Properties is Lanai's answer to the old-fashioned diner, complete with soda fountain and swivel stools. Hamburgers, saimin and local style breakfast are among the favorites here. (Cash only). Closed on Wednesday's.
• The Blue Ginger Cafe - Blue Ginger offers a variety of fare,from pizza to stirfry, their own fresh baked potatoes, and local style dinners. (Cash only). Open daily
• Hotel Lanai - The casual atmosphere of Hotel Lanai boasts a veranda where visitors and residents can relax and enjoy the bartender's famous Mai Tais. Or simply sit back and 'talk story.'
